Do You Have STDs (Sexually Transmitted Demons)?

Have you ever been in a situation where you had a difficult time ending a relationship with someone that you know was not good for you? Or maybe you took on negative traits from your ex? Or maybe….you can't commit or stay in a relationship for more than a few months before moving to the next person…

Well…you may have an STD. Yes… you read that correctly. You may have a Sexually Transmitted Demon. I know it sounds a bit strange, but when we have sex with someone we connect more than just in the physical. It is a spiritual encounter. In the bible the way a husband sealed the marriage with his wife was to “know" her…AKA to have sex. Mark 10:7-8 says…“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh; so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.” NKJV

When we become one physically, our souls connect to our spouse. As stated in Mark, we are no longer two separate people spiritual. This is one reason we should not have sex until marriage…so that our soul is not fragmented and we can connect to our spouse the way God intended. God gives us commands to protect us.

So what do you do if you realize you have soul ties, demons and/or other baggage from previous relationships???

1) Repent and completely surrender to God… Our plan will always lead us back to being bound. God's way leads us to deliverance, sustained freedom, and eternal life (Acts 3:19).

2) Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). This is the model for deliverance. When we submit to God…He will set us free and show us the way to stay free. Submission/total commitment to God is KEY because even if demons are cast out of you, but you turn away from God….the demons will return.
